Get on your warm fuzzy slippers, a good cup of coffee and take a walk back in time! Although I’m new to blogging I am not new to writing. I’ve been a published poet since 1997 and have also been writing thoughts, opinions and dreams since I can remember. I’ll be sharing with you topics such as Childhood Memories, “The Way it was when I was a Kid”,  thoughts on being & staying a Christian today in an Atheist world , politics, abortion, “the Christmas Wars”, Humor and a favorite recipe or two. Friends and Family who know me are used to my “Shoot from the Hip” attitude, methods of writing and expression and I do expect opposition. Aside from expressing my views, my main mission here is to support and share true-to-life stories, those who like me ” “triumph over tragedy”  sharing stories with who like myself have a love of God and Country, a Respect for those who’ve fought and died for our freedoms, what guts it takes to move on even when life seems dim and our hopes and dreams for the furture.
