As one of many people, who didn’t have the opportunity to go to Lebanon Pa today or the one in Philadelphia, to take part in a town meeting held by Arlen Specter. I viewed it from the Television on Fox News. For the most part it was respectful. There was a man who was disgruntled about not being one of the 30 people who were given number tags, for questioning Arlen Specter. We have friends who live in Lebanon and trust me these were real people with real questions and concerns, for and about the Obama Administration, Thank You Nancy Pelosi! Arlan Specter assured Americans, that he is in fact prepared to keep Single Payer Option Health Care on the table. Senator Specter also said he would NOT support a bill that would give Illegals Aliens access to health care on the heels of the American people. Senator also added, that business’s who already have health care coverage, will NOT be taxed. Senator also stated that he is opposed to CARD CHECK and added that Death Counseling, end of life counseling, if you will, he felt was a  personal decision, between Families and personal health care providers.

OPINION: The Town Hall Meeting almost vibrated with passionate citizens. I could feel that from the TV set. But, you could cut the tension in the room with knife. and the reality of this is, although Specter claims the above he will or will not support, will he go back to Washington with the real concerns of the people? People wanted their feelings known. They been shut out and threatened to be silenced and have in essence “Time to Stew”. For a lot of folks time to stew means eventually they will explode verbally.  Americans are worried. This issue is not just about Passing Universal Health Care. It’s about Socializing 1/6 of the American economy in a what I think is a Power Grab. The issue is further Government control and intervention into out lives. I’ve posted a week or two ago my concerns about the passage of single payer health care. And I will repeat it once again, another reason I’m against it, is that every bank account of each American will be stored in one data-base. There is already talk about the dangers of terrorists/hackers infiltrating our infrastructure computer grids. If this happens, every American will be at risk for massive identity theft, and this will lead to absolute chaos. Do you know what this will cost to create such a infrastructure that protects our information?__ we, our children and grandchildren and those yet unborn will be paying for this system along with the first stimulus, we are already paying for. I feel this is a “created crisis for control”, further control of the American people. No Health care coverage is perfect, there is always a room for improvement. Improvement is one thing, a take over is quite another AND BELIEVE THAT IS WHAT THIS IS! Private sector American Health care isn’t broke, Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security is____why in the hell would I put my life and eventual death decisions in another Government plan, where history shows, the programs are broke. WHY DO IT AGAIN?  The point is health care is available, but one must pay for it, nothing is free! Another major point I have is, that Government states that our own health care we pay now will not be affected in the passage of Universal health care  goes through. Fact is it will. If there’s no healthy competition, and there won’t be, because, government will most assuredly under cut the private sector, If this BILL HR 3200 passes, we will eventually be forced on Government run Health care and that’s what the Government wants. IN HEALTH CARE THERES 1/6 OF THE ECONOMY THAT’S UP FOR  A POWER GRAB AND THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION IS AFTER IT!
