Alright, I’m tired of hearing the comparison between Bush’s supposed lackadaisical treatment and of sending aid to Louisianna for Hurricane Katrina’s victims__and NOW hearing how swift Obama is in getting help to the earth quake victims in Haiti, when a lot of the provisions are just being shipped and flown___I ask this question WHY WAS IT PRESIDENT BUSH’S FAULT that Katrina wasn’t handled properly and was slow in getting aid to flood victims___When the people had plently of WARNING TO LEAVE__and DIDN’T__STATING ALOT HAD NO TRANSPORTATION TO GO,___ BUT 100′S OF SCHOOL BUSES SAT SWAMPED WITH WATER UP TO THEIR ROOFS, INSTEAD OF OFFICIALS USING THERE DAMN HEADS AND 24 HOURS BEFORE THE HURRICANE HIT, AND USING THOSE BUSES TO GET FOLKS OUT THAT WANTED TO GO___ALOT OF FOLKS REFUSED TO LEAVE__AND THEN BITCHED ABOUT THEIR HARDSHIP AFTER THE HURRICANE HIT, BECAUSE THEY MADE THE WRONG CHOICE TO STAY_________IF IT WAS ANYONES FAULT IN HURRICANE KATRINA, IT WAS LOUISIANNA STATE GOVERNMENT FAULT, FOR PISS POOR FLOOD PLANNING–IN A KNOWN FLOOD ZONE!___c’mon people!

MAY GOD BLESS AND HELP THE VICTIMS IN HAITI.

As the Holidays approach, the news seems to be getting bleaker. Fox news just had alert on while Tom Ridge was on, it seems that the Country is under a moderate alert, former Governor Tom Ridge said that “he didn’t know if Homeland Security received some kind of intelligence that warranted it or not”___not sure what that’s all about___

I’m normally upbeat and rearing to go, but quite honestly the future of America has been on my mind. I’ve had an eerie, unsettled feeling in the pit of my stomach for months now__ Not only do we as Americans have to continue to be very aware that Al Quada still wants us dead, we now have to fear and be ever vigilant that our own Government seems to be seizing more of our constitutional rights and bankrupting each of us.__ As Health care reform pushes ever closer, the Constitution and what it stands for seems to be fading away, along with 1/6 of our economy, if the Democratic Health care reform passes. We will then, be at the mercy of an Administration that has not showed much promise thus far. __This Administration isn’t interested of hearing it’s people who cry out to stop the spending and let the fear subside & economy heal itself, it’s even ignoring the seemingly bailing Obama supporters that have realized our current situation isn’t the hope and change they voted for__as Washington  turns a deaf ear, a lot of us struggle and juggle our money as the Holidays approach.___ This year for us, we are returning to the days of old,  when Christmas gifts were home baked goods and candies, we just don’t have the money this year. Thankfully the only reason I have this blog is, a good friend who hosts this site for me, doesn’t charge me for it, other wise I wouldn’t have it. This blog is  a place I go and bitch about what I thinks wrong with the country!

__ No matter what lies ahead as the Holidays begin, we look forward to those special days with a smile in our hearts, and being content knowing, that we at least have been granted to spend the holidays with family and friends for yet another year at home.

OPINION: What the Hell has happened to this damn Country!?! Shutting down a child’s Lemonade stand?? Kids selling lemonade is about as American as Apple Pie. And the earliest form of learning capitalism. The child was selling Lemonade and going to donate the money to her parents for a trip to Disney World. I’M TELLING YA, The Liberals start training children early, teaching them not to believe or practice capitalism. If I had the Frickin’ money, I’d have sent her myself! What a bunch of Idiots!

Someone telling you to follow your heart, is a hell of a lot harder than it sounds. What you think and feel at 20 is much different, than how you are at 50. So much water passes under the bridge, so many mistakes and successes,  families grow and die,___ what we’ve experienced, has helped to lead us, to who we are today___if we make it____and we remember___

I was born in the 50’s, the land of “Leave it to Beaver”, a time where our mothers stayed home and raised the kids, while our fathers worked. Eisenhower was our President at the time, in fact I went to school with Eisenhowers Great nephew, Elwood. The 60’s came and these years were filled with Woodstock, Segregation, the assassination of JFK, and the sexual revolution and we watched it all unfold on our black and white TV’s and in the local news papers.

The 70’s brought disco era, with bright lights, the movie, Saturday Night Live, Dance Fever, Booze, Platform shoes, the coming out of gays, drugs and sleeping with everyone at anytime became a favorite pass time, until the 80’s, no one remembered a thing__The 80’s were Big Bands, Bigger Hair, sex drugs and rock and roll, The Culture club, Frankie goes to Hollywood and the discovery of aids.

From The 90’s to the 2000’s, found America a lot less loose and a little more conservative sexually, but something else was happening through the years, that was beginning to rear it’s ugly head__a sad and gradual shift, away from God and Family__It was becoming “More Cool” to be worldly, rather than to follow your heart. It’s  more suave to act as if one doesn’t have a care in the world. The “me generation” forming through the years. A generation who became, so pre-occupied with themselves, their careers, and whom suddenly said, they’ve fallen “out of love” with their spouses, and walk away destroying whole families__in one fell swoop, in search of a better life____a generation who acts, as if, the rest of us never felt that way, oh we have, but it’s the ones with balls who stay in it, only cowards run. If there’s abuse or drug abuse, you can’t change those people unless they change themselves, then run for safety you must.___

In the 2000’s God is gone from the schools, pastors are preaching to empty pews or a sleeping congregation__innocent babies are aborted, when birth control is just as convenient, and not  murderous, if the woman is not too lazy to go to the store and buy it and then use it. Children are left in politically correct day cares, for someone else to wreck their views of the world, on this tiny, unknowing, innocent future. It’s cool, for women to have a career and children and a home, and be single too. Sadly, while they tell themselves they don’t need a man to have it all, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Siblings and Day Care Centers, “the baby sitters”, paint a much different story.

In 2000, Wether our hearts are 20 or 50, we are born, we live and we die. We can either waste our time on ouselves, or we can work to ensure our children have a future, so they and America have a fighting chance. America in the beginning were comprised of God fearing men and women. PELOSI SWERES AND DECLARES SHE’ GOT THE VOTES NEEDED TO PASS DEMOCRATIC UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE, ANOTHER TV NEWS REPORT STATES THAT THE DEMS MAY NEED REPUBLICAN VOTES TO PASS IT. WELL__ THE REPUBLICAN CHILD IN ME WOULD IMMEDIATELY RAISE MY HAND  TO THE FRONT OF MY FACE, PLACE MY THUMB AGAINST MY NOSE AND FRANTICALLY WAVE MY FINGERS. AS AN ADULT HOWEVER, I WOULD LET THEM SWEAT IT. THIS IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF WHAT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE CAN DO, WHEN THEY STAY IN CONSTANT CONTACT THEIR REPRESENTATIVES. I’M A REPUBLICAN. AND I’VE CONTACTED ALL MY REPRESENTATIVES ON A REGULAR BASIS. WHICH IS SPECTER, CASEY AND GERLACH. TWO WHICH ARE DEMOCRATS. AND NOT SURPRISINGLY THE ONLY ONE WHO’S CONTACTED ME IN RETURN WAS A PHONE CALL FROM GERLACHS OFFICE. IT’S A SAD THING, WHEN OUR REPRESENTATIVES ONLY CONTACT THEIR OWN PARTY CONSTITUIENTS AND EVEN WORSE, IS WHEN THEY WON’T ADDRESS CONSTITUIENTS FEARS AND CONCERNS AND WHEN THEY DO CONTACT US, IT IS MERELY IN FORM LETTERS. OUR REPRESENTATIVES WERE ELECTED TO REPRESENT ALL OF THE PEOPLE IN THEIR AREA, NOT JUST THE PEOPLE WHO ARE IN AGREEMENT WITH THEM. AGAIN, THE DEMOCRATS SEEM TO THINK, TO DIVIDE IS TO CONQUER. IN THEIR ” 2 FAST AND 2 FAR LEFT”, PLATEFORM, THEYRE GOING TO RUN THEMSELVES RIGHT OUTTA OFFICE, AGAIN. THE LAST TIME THE DEMS TRIED TO RAM THROUGH “HILARYCARE” THE DEMS LOST BOTH THE HOUSE AND THE SENATE, DURING THE CLINTON ADMINISTRATION. ONE WOULD THINK YOU’D LEARN FROM PAST MISTAKES, BUT ALAS, SUCH IS HUMAN NATURE AND POLITICS. UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE HAS BEEN TRIED ACROSS THE BOARD. CANADA, ENGLAND AND NEITHER OF THEM WORK. RATIONING CARE, A WAITING LIST AND Bureaucrats DICTATING TO YOUR DOCTOR HOW AND WHAT CARE YOU GET. PEOPLE THAT DO NOT WISH TO BE INSURED SHOULD BE UP TO THEM. IF THEY HAVE A CATASHROPHE, THEY THEMSELVES,  MUST THEN PAY THE PIPER.

BEING THE TOTAL SKEPTIC THAT I AM, I FEEL, THE DEMS HEALTHCARE BILL IS ALSO ANOTHER WAY, OF TAPPING INTO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND FURTHER INVADE THEIR LIVES. IT’S BEEN SAID, GOVERNMENT WILL HAVE DIRECT ACCESS TO OUR BANK ACCOUNTS WITH THEIR PROPOSED HEALTHCARE PLAN. NOW, THEIR PLAN WILL HAVE TO INCLUDE AND BE A TOTAL COMPUTER DATABASED  INFASTRUCTURE, ACROSS THE UNITED STATES, TO HOUSE ALL OF THE INFORMATION OF EACH AMERICAN. IT IS MY CONCERN, THAT IF THIS INFASTRUCTURE IS INVADED BY HACKERS, ALL THE INFORMATION ON EVERY UNITED STATES CITIZEN WILL BE READILY AVAILABLE, FOR THE CLICKING. AND WE WILL BE FURTHER SUBJECTED TO THE VULNERABILITY OF IDENTITY THEFT. EVEN WORSE THAN NOW, BECAUSE ALL THE INFORMATION WILL BE CONTAINED IN ONE PLACE. AS IT STANDS NOW, IDENITY THIEVES HAVE TO AT LEAST WORK A LITTLE TO GET THE INFO AND SEARCH FOR IT. THIS IS WHY IT’S IMPERIATIVE, THAT ALL BASES NEED TO BE COVERED AND COVERED AGAIN IN ALL AREAS. AND NOT BE RAMMED THROUGH THE HOUSE OR THE SENATE. PERSONALLY, I BELIEVE ANY BILL CONTAINING MORE THAN 500 PAGES, SHOULD BE ON THE DESKS OF EACH CONGRESSMAN AND SENATOR AND GIVEN NO LESS THAN A WEEK TO REVIEW. I DON’T GIVE A DAMN HOW RIDICULOUS IT SOUNDS AND I BEIEVE IT SHOULD BE MADE MANDATORY. THIS SH*T OF RAMMING A BILL THROUGH THE HOUSE OR SENATE, WITHOUT ADEQUET TIME FOR REVIEW, IS NOTHING MORE THAN,” THE LESS PEOPLE SEE THE PROPOSALS, THE LESS THEY CAN OPPOSE IT”. WE MAY “ACT STUPIDLY” FROM TIME TO TIME, BUT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE “NOT” DOWN RIGHT STUPID.
