YOU KNOW IT’S BAD WHEN, The Miss U.S.A. Pagent is getting tied up in Politics.
Carrie Prejean – who was representing the State of California was the front-runner. Until the interview round of the contest. She drew a question by blogger Mario Lavandeira, Jr. who posts under Perez Hilton, the “Queen of Mean.”
Her question:
“Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalize same-sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit? Why or why not?”
Prejean’s response:
“We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or the opposite. And you know what, I think in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that’s how I was raised.”
Her answer drew fire on a video as one of the judges and states she lost the pagent due to her answer and threw in some name calling to boot.

KUDOS TO CARRIE! SCREW POPULAR OPINION! STICK TO YOUR GUNS! YOUR GETTING MORE PUBLICITY THAN THE WOMAN CROWNED MISS USA ANYWAY! WELL DONE!
