ON HANNITY LAST NIGHT, AN EAGLE SCOUT WAS APPARENTLY SUSPENDED FROM SCHOOL, FROM HAVING A PEN KNIEF LOCKED UP IN THE TRUNK OF HIS CAR DURING SCHOOL HOURS…

The older I get the more ridiculous and paranoid our society becomes. I realize you can’t have kids running the halls at school brandishing shot guns & Uzis, but this zero tolerance thing has gotten way out of hand. No one wants to witness another Columbine Massacre either. But in reality Folks, You can only control so much of your surroundings. In law enforcement you rely on instinct and tip offs to possible trouble, other than that, your at the mercy of those intended on doing harm. Jumping to conclusions and being paranoid at every little thing, won’t help the situation either. Our son was a scout, he carried his scout pen knife everywhere. My Dad and Grandfather always carried pen knives, that didn’t make them criminals.
Fact is anything can be turned into a weapon, for example a base ball bat, a sharpened pencil or pen, your dam foot or fist can be a weapon depending how you use them, and upon your reasons for using them in aggressive manner!! Extreme Paranoia over a possible crime, can cause just a much harm if not more, than the actual crime itself. We can’t control everything. Every day while going about our daily lives were at the mercy of the world and the joy and evil within it, we pray for safe keeping and hope for the best. Stop this crazy overacting to everything, My God, We’ve got enough going on in the world.
