Well I guess when all else fails we can pull the race card. But, I’m not sure why race is even a part of it!? If your thought to be doing something illegal and the police are called, I don’t think it matters if your purple!  Sgt James Crowley was called to investigate what was thought to be a burglary, but ended up being a a friend of Barrack Obama’s who locked his keys in his house. And in return had to break in his own home to get in and went further and went arrested, gates claimed this was racial profiling.

Well with all due respect, had one of my neighbors called the cops on me for breaking in to my house to get in, I would’ve been extremely embarrassed and not reacted politely. If however I was Left alone a bit to contemplate it, I would’ve come around to a rational way of thinking, such as thanking my neighbors for caring enough to call the police and apologized to the police for becoming irate and just being glad they dropped the charges. On the other end of the spectrum, Sgt Crowley or any police officer when called to a alleged  burglery scene, don’t know what they are getting themselves into. Are there weapons? How many suspects are there? Are there hostages? If None of these questions can be answered, the police have to find out. I don’t believe Sgt. Crowley should be required to apologize for doing his duty. Fact is, it was a case of some forgetting their house keys breaking into ones own house to get in. A neighbor saw it and reported it. Had President Obama kept quiet about, it would’ve blown over. The fact that he had to add his two cents in, made it a headline. Because the president is adored by the news media and what ever comes out of his mouth, seems to be viewed as something of biblical proportion. Then we have to go for the gusto and get into racial profiling polls, the whys and ifs. Why don’t we just end it here. It was a misunderstanding, let’s, let it go at that.
