FOR STARTERS, FOUR HOURS OF DEMOCRATIC RHETORIC, ALMOST TWO HOURS OF OBAMA TALKING POINTS AND A MINIMAL OF TWO HOURS OF REPUBLICAN’S SPEAKING, with interruptions__WE HAD MORE DEMOCRATIC MEDICAL HORROR STORIES TODAY, SUCH AS THE WOMAN WHO CHOOSE’S TO WEAR A DEAD WOMAN’S DENTURES__ THAN AGREEING ON LEGISLATION__ IT WAS OBVIOUS AFTER THE FIRST TWO HOURS, THE DEMS WERE ONLY THERE BECAUSE THEIR HAND WAS FORCED BY SCOTT BROWNS VOTE__SORRY WASHINGTON, IT WASN’T BI-PARTISAN.  IT FAILED AS A BI PARTISAN EFFORT, PRESIDENT OBAMA WAS CLEARLY DRIVING THE AGENDA__

WHEN SENATOR McCAIN SUGGESTED HE FELT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DON’T WANT THIS HEALTH CARE REFORM, OR LIKE THE SWEETHEART DEALS AND THOSE PEOPLE WHO WOULD NOT BE TAXED IF THIS HEALTH CARE BILL PASSED. PRESIDENT OBAMA THEN QUICKLY CUT SENATOR McCAIN OFF, WITH THE PRESIDENT STATING, “THE CAMPAIGNS OVER, JOHN, THAT IT’S BEEN OVER”, SENATOR McCAIN  RETORTED WITH, I’M REMINDED OF THAT EVERYDAY!” _MUCH LATE HENRY WAXMAN STATED, THAT THE REPUBLICANS ARE NOT HELPING YOU MR. PRESIDENT!”_PARDON ME BUT THE REPUBLICANS WEREN’T ALLOWED A VOICE THAT WASN’T SILENCED  UNTIL TODAY!

ALSO, HARRY REID  STATED IN FACT ” THAT HE OR THE DEMS SAID NOTHING ABOUT USING RECONCILIATION TO CRAM THROUGH THEIR HEALTH CARE BILL,_ HARRY REID THEN INDICATED THE REPUBLICANS STARTED THAT RUMOR ABOUT THE BILL THEMSELVES.”__PRESIDENT OBAMA ALSO SAYS THAT 30 MILLION PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE HEALTH CARE INSURANCE IN THE US___MY PROBLEM WITH THAT STATEMENT IS, THERE IS 300 MILLION OF US IN THE UNITED STATES ???___DOES THAT NUMBER INCLUDE, THOSE PEOPLE THAT DON’T WANT HEALTH CARE AND/OR THOSE PEOPLE WHOSE NAMES HAVE NEVER BEEN REMOVED FROM THE CENSUS AT THE TIME OF DEATH___EXAMPLE AND WHY I ASK THIS QUESTION: MY FATHER’S BEEN DEAD FOR OVER SIX YEARS, I STILL REGULARLY GET THE SOLIDARITY MAGAZINE, WITH HIS NAME ON IT__MY QUESTION IS AND I’VE ASKED IT BEFORE, DOES MY DEAD FATHER’S NAME STILL VOTE TOO?__

AT 5:56 THURSDAY, NANCY PELOSI APPARENTLY FELT REPUBLICANS DIDN’T HELP MUCH TODAY EITHER AND INSISTED WHEN QUESTIONED ABOUT IT, THERE WERE NO ABORTION FUNDING IN THE DEMOCRATIC BILL” AND DID NOT WANT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE TO HEAR THIS AND BELIEVE THERE WAS ABORTION BEING FUNDED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

OPINION: I WAS WAITING FOR THE HOOPS AND THE DOGS TREATS!__HORROR STORIES__MY MY, WE ALL HAVE OUR OWN HEALTH CARE STORIES, DON’T WE__AND HOW WONDERFUL AND EUPHORIC IT WOULD BE TO BE ABLE TO TAKE AWAY ALL THE WORLDS ILLS__I BELIEVE WHEN YOU BEGIN TO BELIEVE YOUR GOD, THEN YOU HAVE A CULT NOT A COUNTRY. I FEEL THE ARE DEMS  STILL TRY’IN TO SELL A DEFECTIVE HEALTH CARE PRODUCT THAT NO ONE WANTS OR NEEDS.___RECALL HEALTH CARE MR. PRESIDENT. THOSE THAT DO WANT IT FEEL, THEIR ENTITLED. I FEEL THE DEMS ARE CREATING THE HEALTH CARE  HYSTERIA AND THE NEED!

ALLOW PEOPLE TO BUY INSURANCE ACROSS STATE LINES__

HEALTH CARE SAVINGS ACCOUNTS

AND SEND PLANTS, DISGUISED AS PATIENTS TO PERIODICALLY CHECK ON

DOCTOR/ PATIENT/HEALTH CARE WORKERS

FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT AFFORD HEALTH CARE, THEIR IS MEDICARE, MEDICAID_I SUGGEST THESE TWO GOVERNMENT ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS BE STABILIZED, BEFORE ADDING ANOTHER ENTITLEMENT PROGRAM THAT DOESN’T WORK!

As the Holidays approach, the news seems to be getting bleaker. Fox news just had alert on while Tom Ridge was on, it seems that the Country is under a moderate alert, former Governor Tom Ridge said that “he didn’t know if Homeland Security received some kind of intelligence that warranted it or not”___not sure what that’s all about___

I’m normally upbeat and rearing to go, but quite honestly the future of America has been on my mind. I’ve had an eerie, unsettled feeling in the pit of my stomach for months now__ Not only do we as Americans have to continue to be very aware that Al Quada still wants us dead, we now have to fear and be ever vigilant that our own Government seems to be seizing more of our constitutional rights and bankrupting each of us.__ As Health care reform pushes ever closer, the Constitution and what it stands for seems to be fading away, along with 1/6 of our economy, if the Democratic Health care reform passes. We will then, be at the mercy of an Administration that has not showed much promise thus far. __This Administration isn’t interested of hearing it’s people who cry out to stop the spending and let the fear subside & economy heal itself, it’s even ignoring the seemingly bailing Obama supporters that have realized our current situation isn’t the hope and change they voted for__as Washington  turns a deaf ear, a lot of us struggle and juggle our money as the Holidays approach.___ This year for us, we are returning to the days of old,  when Christmas gifts were home baked goods and candies, we just don’t have the money this year. Thankfully the only reason I have this blog is, a good friend who hosts this site for me, doesn’t charge me for it, other wise I wouldn’t have it. This blog is  a place I go and bitch about what I thinks wrong with the country!

__ No matter what lies ahead as the Holidays begin, we look forward to those special days with a smile in our hearts, and being content knowing, that we at least have been granted to spend the holidays with family and friends for yet another year at home.

I try not to get too upset about what’s going on in Washington, although we know what the Dems are trying to do and that is turn America into European Socialism and eventually ONE world economy. WE KNOW WHAT YOUR UP TO WASHINGTON AND WE DON’T LIKE IT! AS I’VE SAID IN PLENTY OF POST BEFORE, IF I WANTED EUROPEAN SOCIALISM, I’D MOVE TO EUROPE!!!

Despite the news Headlines and the economic down turn, we Americans we have gotten damn good at gettin’ by_ I think that’s a song title?__. Mom always told me,”ya don’t ALWAYS have steak to eat!”__Some of us buy  hamburger instead of steak. We Do wash every other day, instead of everyday. Fix our own nails and hair, instead of going to the salon or buying a half of tank of gas rather than fill it up. And do all the erands on the same outing.

As for Christmas this year, I’m personalizing!__ I bought large paper mache’ boxes on line, which amount to about $2.75 a box. We are a picture taking family, we take  pictures even when the grandkids fart!___lol. ___so_ I’m turning family pics that I photoshopped into wrapping paper.I’m  gluing them to the boxes and filling the boxes with pratical gifts this year. Hey__Life hands ya lemons, ya make lemonade!

Been busy with Halloween my second favorite holiday__a bunch of us got together and had a Halloween party_it’s  just another reason for adults to get stupid!!__Now, it’s Onto Thanksgiving and Christmas__my favorites of the Holidays_ one lends itself to the other.__I WILL BE IN AND OUT WITH POSTS, WITH THE HOLIDAYS COMING, I’M JUST GETTING BUSY LIKE EVERYONE ELSE AT THE HOLIDAY’S____GOD’S GOT OUR BACKS IN WASHINGTON FOLKS___ALONG WITH RUSH, GLENN BECK AND MICHELL MALKIN__WE NEED TO KEEP SPEAKING UP, SAYING OUR PIECE, RIGHT ALONG WITH THEM!!___

Opinion: By all standards, I believe Obama believes what he does, is right for America, as do each of us do in living our lives. But we cannot turn a deaf ear to major issues and hope they go away.    The Government, much like every day americans, cannot afford to take dance lessons,  when your behind on the electric bill. That’s being foolish and irresponsible. Been there, learned along time ago, ya can’t do it._We’ve got many serious & pressing issues in America, that need to be addressed right now, health care in not one of them. But the Obama Administration insists focusing on health care, when it’s already in place and people are cared for in emergencies, regardless of whether or not they have insurance.___    We are still at war on terror in the middle east, there’s a call for more troops__but that seems to be placed on the back burner until recently__the jobless rate has gone up again to 9.8–and yet every where you look there’s the threat of further tax hikes— or an energy tax because of a supposed global warming threat or taxes on juices and sodas and more alcohol and cigarette taxes as well___How does or how can, the economy and the American people, continue to lose jobs and pay higher taxes too? This opinion of mine is more about the economy that anything else, because I think Washington’s being more utopic about that than anything else.

It’s bad enough when the jobs keeps falling and I run the risk once again of repeating myself, in saying,  the more wealthy are taxed and penalized further, causing some to rethink their business ventures and in time if not already, are closing up and causing even further job loss…..I can understand and support the idea if you make more money your taxed more, in a healthy economy, that is– –but increasing taxes in already tanked economy makes no sense. It will drive us further into recession, if not a soft depression.  Higher taxes alone will cause people to pull there belts even tighter, to try at minimum to keep what they have. Honestly, The incentive to try and prosper is beginning to disappear.__ For example, my old doctor for 25_30 years retired about 14 years ago__when I asked why he was retiring early, he said “because it just wasn’t fun anymore”. The man was a brilliant doctor. He was a Phsyciatrist, an Obgyn and a General Practitioner, with nine children of his own. Some of his children went into the medical field, I know, but I would be willing to wager a bet, they don’t have it nearly as good as their father did. And their father loved being a doctor, and he loved his patients. One of whom was my mother. This doctor even came to my mothers funeral a year after his retirement,  stood by her casket, as he touched her hand he said” my mother was not only a patient, she was a friend”. This man was one of the best doctors & diagnostitions I ever knew. He could look at you and tell you what was wrong. We later talked at the luncheon for my mother and he confided, saying the medical field was changing, that it wasn’t what it used to be___AGAIN, The incentive to excel is being crushed, under tax and regulation, and fear of law suits especially in the medical field.  that’s whats making healthcare rise in costs.__   Bottom line is, the average American have gotten good at gettin by, unless your one of the fortunate few who makes millions,__ Fat Chance, with all the illness’s in my family,__ I started plenty of business ventures, some are still on the books, but I never had the time to stay at it long enough and follow through on any them them. I’d get started and have to quit, because one of my parents were sick or hospitalized and needed help.__were still digging out finacially from 18 years of that__I’m not a  sympathy hunter, but I’m a realist and it’s just the way it was_

In closing, Washington seems to think that were all wealthy out here__that were somehow greedy, and hoarding, personally if I was greedy, I’d have packed my parents and my drug addicted daughter off to welfare to be some one else’s problem and went to work 18 years ago, instead of staying in it to care for them and pratically going broke in the process, it’s ok, I sleep well at night__I’m no maryter, but I ain’t the kind to walk away from family in need__There’s a lot of people out here in the same shoes, I know were not the only ones__I never had the time to live in a A UTOPIC WORLD, A fantasy land___wouldn’t it be grand,__

300 MILLION PEOPLE IN THE UNITED STATES, 83% OF WHOM LIKE THEIR HEALTH CARE COVERAGE THE WAY IT IS, AND THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION CONTINUES TO PUSH FOR MASSIVE HEALTH CARE REFORM, TO TRY AND COVER 30 TO 50 MILLION PEOPLE WHO DON’T HAVE HEALTH CARE INSURANCE.__ Hmmm 300 MILLION PEOPLE IN THE US,  AND REFORMING THE WHOLE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM FOR  MERE 50 MILLION PEOPLE WHO DON’T HAVE INSURANCE?____YA KNOW FOLKS,  AT SOME POINT IN TIME, THE TIDES OF LIFE CHANGES, PROSPERITY RISES AND FALLS, THOSE WITH SPIRIT PERSERVER,___ THERE’S JOB LOSS, PAY CUTS, SICKNESS, DEATH, ELDERLY PARENTS TO CARE FOR, KIDS, CATASTROPHE,__BEEN THERE DID ALL OF THIS___WE’RE STILL PLUGGIN’ ALONG, BUT WE DIDN’T SIT AROUND AND WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO CARE FOR US EITHER!__WE WENT FOR YEARS WITHOUT HEALTH COVERAGE AND WERE BLESSED NOT TO NEED IT. GOVERNMENT IS NOT THE ANSWER FOR EVERYTHING AND NOT THE ANSWER FOR HEALTH CARE EITHER.

FACTS- SOCIAL SECURITY IS IN TROUBLE, MEDICAID BROKE, THE DEMS WANNA STRIP MONEY OUT OF MEDICARE TO HELP PAY FOR HEALTH CARE REFORM, BUT TELLS US IT WON’T COST ANYTHING OR ADD TO THE DEFECIT__HOW DO YOU REFORM HEALTH CARE FOR 300 MILLION PEOPLE AND NOT SPEND A DIME?___YA DON’T__YA STRETCH THE TRUTH ABOUT IT AND HOPE LIKE HELL NOBODY NOTICES! IF OBAMA CARE HEALTH CARE REFORM PASSES, THOSE OF US WHO HAVE HEALTH CARE WILL BE TAXED TO HELP PAY FOR THOSE WHO DON’T!?! AND WE’LL EVENTUALLY END UP ON PUBLIC OPTION AND THATS WHAT THE GOVERNMENT IS BANKING ON!__WHERES THE INCENTIVE?_ WE CAN BE CHARITABLE ON OUR OWN, WE DON’T NEED A GOVERNMENT FIST TO MAKE IT MANDATORY, TO MAKE US HELP PAY FOR THOSE WHO DON’T HAVE IT.I DON’T MIND OFFERING A HAND UP, BUT EVENTUALLY THEY GOTTA  WORK FOR IT AND PAY FOR IT LIKE WE DO OR GO ON MEDICAID! THAT’S WHAT IT’S THERE FOR, IT’S A GOVERNMENT PROGRAM, ITS BROKE TOO & SCREWED UP, BUT THEY WANNA INSURE ALL OF AMERICA___THIS MAKES NO DAMN SENSE!!!

NO GOVERNMENT RUN HEALTH CARE, CO OPS, PUBLIC OPTION AND NO TRIGGERS, NUCLEAR OPTION, SINGLE PAYER HEALTH CARE!

WE DON’T WANT IT!

THE COST, I JUST HEARD A NEWS REPORT__A TAX WILL BE ADDED BETWEEN 750 AND 3800 A DOLLARS A YEAR FOR HEALTH CARE___BUT I THOUGHT THIS HEALTH CARE WASN’T GOING TO INCREASE THE COST?

OBAMA ADMIN. __TOO FAR LEFT, TOO FAST___IF YA WANNA TWEAK HEALTH CARE, THEN START BY ADDING TORT REFORM AND STOP THE FRIVILOUS LAWSUITS!

DOCTORS AND THOSE IN THE MEDICAL PROFESSION ARE NOT GOD, THERE’S MISTAKES AND  BAD APPLES IN THE BUNCH,__ I HAD ONE ( A BAD DOCTOR AND A LOUSY INSURANCE CO._WE CHANGED BOTH AND IT’S ALL GOOD!, BUT IT DOESN’T MEAN THE WHOLE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM HAS TO BE REFORMED, BECAUSE OF A FEW BAD APPLES!___GOVERNMENT, TWEAK HEALTH CARE__NO TAKE OVER!

NOTHING IS PERFECT, BUT AMERICA STILL HAS THE FINEST HEALTH CARE IN THE WORLD!
